At Fundraising Across the Board, we’re here to help you increase your understanding of fundraising and how it applies to your role. 

• We provide a clear overview of the current fundraising climate, the different fundraising streams and the opportunities and risks for each 
• Support trustees to navigate the delicate balance of trustee responsibilities/legal requirements and being ‘too in the detail’ of fundraising plans and strategies 
• Know how to best support your fundraising team. Spoilers; It’s not opening your address book or needing ‘do’ the fundraising yourself  

• Understand the skills needed for the blend of art and science that is fundraising so they can support their fundraising colleagues
• See how they are key ambassadors for the charity – without needing to do anything ‘extra’
• Help them identify when to make an introduction to fundraising – and how to do so in a non-scary way. 

You know that phrase ‘everyone’s a fundraiser’? Yeah – we kind of hate it too. 

BUT there is some truth to it. 

Because fundraising is all about relationships and inspiring people. And on that basis – everyone that is involved with your charity has the opportunity to inspire the people they talk to and make introductions.

Then it’s down to the experienced fundraisers to use their skills and expertise to build those relationships, share the impact of why supporting your charity is important and ultimately – inspire action. 

Looking to our Trustee Boards, this amazing team of volunteers bring a wide range of skills, experience and expertise. They are ultimately responsible for top-level strategy and budget sign off. But very rarely are they experienced fundraisers.
